The Next Level Awaits at the 2026 Cape Co-Ed U13 Cup

The next generation of school hockey talent will once again take centre stage when the Cape Co-Ed U13 Cup, powered by Belgotex Sport, returns on 7–8 August 2026.
Hosted across Curro Durbanville Primary School, Curro Durbanville High School, Kenridge Primary School and Gene Louw Primary School, the event will see 16 boys’ teams and 16 girls’ teams competing in one of the Western Cape’s premier primary school hockey festivals.
With the standard continuing to rise each year, the 2026 edition promises to be next level once again, bringing together outstanding young talent, proud school rivalries and an unforgettable tournament experience.

There will be plenty to play for across the two days, with teams chasing the Boys Trophy, Girls Trophy and the prestigious overall Co-Ed Trophy.
The tournament will also honour the memory of Stephan Colle, the founder of Belgotex Sport, who sadly passed away earlier this year. The Stephan Colle Trophy will stand as a tribute to his contribution to sport and his passion for creating opportunities for young athletes.
This year’s tournament also welcomes back a strong group of defending champions. In the Girls Section, Stellenbosch Primary School return as the team to beat after lifting the title in 2025. In the Boys Section, Beaumont will defend the crown they claimed last year, while Stellenbosch Primary School also return as the reigning Co-Ed Cup champions, having finished as the highest-placed school overall in the tournament.
Every match of the tournament will be live streamed on the SuperSport Schools App, giving supporters the opportunity to follow the action from wherever they are. Fixtures, results and standings will be available throughout the tournament on the Enhanced Sports App.
The Cape Co-Ed U13 Cup is powered by Belgotex Sport, with valued support from Brabo, Enhanced Sports, ES Media and Tayla Sportswear.
With 32 teams, multiple trophies on the line and the future stars of the game ready to shine, the 2026 Cape Co-Ed U13 Cup is set to deliver another outstanding celebration of primary school hockey.
The next level starts here.
